The game started poorly for Boise State. Twice in the first few turns, the sure handed pixied could not pick up the ball...constant failings all over the pitch lead to an easy 2-0 halftime lead for BYU. They increased that lead to start the second half...when embarassed at the score and seeing only about half a squad actually left to take the field, Bush Hammer, the leader of the team took things into his own branches once again! Taking the kickoff he surged upfield smashing aside a BYU player that was carried off the field seriously injuried...there was no stopping him...the BYU plays just were brushed aside as it took only 3 turns for the supposedly slow treeman to score the TD. With the score 3-1, the wizard unleashed a fireball that dropped the BYU ballcarrier and then inspired by Bush Hammer, a pixie raced forward grabbed the ball and handed it off to Jason Tool who flew through the air and raced in for the score. Only one turn remained...but Boise State continued to surge forward - once again grabbing the ball and handing it off to Kia Grace...Bush Hammer was prepared to throw Kia for the T16 equalizer when something went amiss and the game ended with the Boise State coach yelling at the refs for unfair play!

Good game...next time we must not play so poorly in the first half!

(Apparently, the client does not allow a TTM after a failed take root roll if you click on move action. I did not know this, if I did I would not have used the move action, and just thrown Kia - the next roll was enough to not fumble her...so 4+ on the landing with a RR...about 75% chance of a score depending on where she landed.)

In a dramtic game the BYU held on for the win, though Coach Azure was not happy when the Ref ruled that one of the Trees was illegally smoking Pot on the pitch and banned him from throwing any little 'uns for a last turn equaliser.

The BYU surged to a 3-0 lead but conceeded one back when a Bad Kick saw the biggest baddest of the three trees get a touch back and score.

Well played Azure, and see you soon for revenge...or maybe not ;D
