I'm all for giving newer coaches advice, even if sometimes I wonder if I'm good enough to give it.

Calciums tip of the day......

Big guys suck. Focusing on the big guys will get you into their tackle zones, right where they want you. Mummies for instance. MV3. Slow as hell. Stay away from them and you kill their ability to hurt you. I love it when players try to gang block my mummies (I always keep 2 close together at least!) Without MB/Claw you are unlikley to break my armour, allowing me to get up + pound your teeth in. Other big guys are the same. With the added disability of BH/really stupid/Wild animal. Any coach who bases their game arounfd their big guy(s) is in real trouble against the top dogs. (I'm nowhere near that level yet!)

1 OTHER THING......

Don't get attached to your teams. Players DIE. And when they do there will be other players to fill the gap.

It took me a while to learn this simple truth, and it has helped me no end in my enjoyment of the game and my standard of play.
