Da Tribe brought Bomber and two Freebootas to try and cope with JackDaniels' DP-Undead with Count. I think this was the right choice, felt like I needed the numbers even if the Bomber failed to do much. He brought attention to himself though, that's always good.
It started well for da Tribe, the Count got the "Duh, where am I" handicap, failed his Bonehead roll in contact with a BOB, was blitzed down and fouled KO. JD played well without him however and quickly moved his AG4 Wight with the ball up to score 0-1. Da Tribe could not cover the sideline fast enough there, and unfortunately the Count woke up again. Da Tribe then failed to score back in the first half after getting stuck on the Mummies in the center. With hindsight, I should have moved the ball faster to one side to try and play around the Mummies.
0-1 at half-time meant trouble. Da Tribe did not bring the ball up fast enough in the 2nd half either, and JD started taking out one player a turn with gang-fouls, so things went from bad to worse. All da Tribe could do was to hold on to the ball until T15 and move desperate receivers into position. But the Count finally stole the ball and prevented an (unlikely) equalizer. Instead it was 0-2 in the very last turn.
GG JackDaniels, I think I was outplayed here, you forced me into the Undead kind of game and I moved too slowly. Well played and see you around.”
