oh my gosh

poor Jan got absolutely slaughtered, the vampires MB-less blocks hit like ton after ton of bricks and evry stumble seemed to end up in the si bin. So in the end the result was unavoidable, but first half Jan really gave me a run for my money and even ended it ahead 1-0, I dont deserve the kind of dumb luck I had this game and Jan deserves better in his efforts to rebuild the hellfishes but nuffle is as we all know a notoriously unreliable diety.

Edit:

hehe, anytime Jan, how about a rematch in the upcoming fumbbl cup final?

Fun game.
They say Vamps have a taste for Blood, but I never thought they meant Hellfish blood.

This game was a nightmare come true, and our paper armor didn't help at all.
The first half saw Gatts suffering from overconfidence and bad dice, and we took our only chance to try and make something to be proud of out of this game. But that was a flash in the dark. And I mean gloomy dark.

Second half was more of a joke. My "reliable" Ogre remembered that his main talent is to screw up things, and so he did. And the numerical advantage (11 vs 6) did the rest.

Gatts showed his respect and his sportmanship by deciding not to go overkilling... I know more than one coach that would have taken the chance to retire the Hellfish for good, today. And I was pretty damn close to retirement today, with 2 vamp DPs still around.

The game in itself was fun and Gatts goes to my white list for being patient, funny and very competent.

As for the team... our combined 41 points of FF did the miracle, and I have now an 11-players team which is surprisingly good considering what it went through. It may sound strange, but this TR trimming is exactly what the Hellfish needed to rebuild a strong team. 71 spps supercatcher niggled and retired, and now the team looks pretty balanced and solid.

err... thanks Gatts?
:-)

ps: next time we meet, you will pay! :-)
