“It was a game that was overshadowed for the fans by the pre-match arguments between Blondi and Drang over who got to wear the teams lucky horned helmet. The decision to share it during the match obviously had no effect as they both turned out to be completely useless, gaining no yards, making no passes and scoring no touchdowns. The rest of the Beaters managed to pull it together and wade through an overwhelming number of Skaven all through out the match, despite being outnumbered most of the time. The Ballimores sorely missed their repeatedly knocked out Gutter Runners and the abscence of the Ogre for some of the game tipped the balance. With a first half score, the Beaters never looked like they were going to lose. It came down to mad scramble for the ball which the Ballimore Ratmen ratmen lost, denying them the draw. The Ratmen fans go home feeling like their teams fumbling luck robbed them of any pride whatsoever. The Beater's fans go home looking smug.”
