Usually I love facing McMagnus on the pitch. We have plenty of really good games behind us. Sadly he sold his soul to the devil and brought the scourge of Blood Bowl to the pitch. The endlessly boring and always over powered dwarves. And he had the indecency to be really lucky with them.
This match marks a shameful spot on both our records. McMagnus for being much too good to fish for wins with handicap teams and me for being a coward and not even trying to stop him once his invincible power hitting bastards had put most my players out of commission.
I wasted all my luck landing clean hits. And it was plenty of them. Sadly dwarves tend to have something in the realm of AV 11 in practice since I never land casualties on them in difference to when I for example play orcs. My own AV 9 sauruses broke down like little girls and for about a third of the match I spent my time moving my players away from his instead of going for the ball.
The single best thing that could ever happen to Blood Bowl would be if dwarves were simply lifted out of the game entirely. Chaos dwarves are fine, but the regular ones are just ruining fun tournaments everywhere.
