“Handicaps were: Knuckledusters and Buzzing - not too bad I think
My DP-Thrower niggled out.
Darkie's Dreams werer receiving 1st half taking their time and trying to get a player into a safe spot to score. The thrower stayed deep. Tribalsinner put pressure on the receivers taking them out one by one and blocking the rest from receiving the ball. All the while the troll was slowly inching closer to the thrower. The dark elves still were able to long bomb to lead late 1st half, leaving the orcs enough time to equalize. The BH and KO box of the elves were slowly filling up. Sinning Saints safely scored 1-1 in the last seconds of the half.
2nd half saw repeated bashing of the orcs taking the elves out one by one. Still the elves were able to steal the ball from the orcs ko'ing their their uberthrower (AG5!!!) in the process. The ball was carried deep but still the orcs recovered the ball. Still the ball came to rest next to two orcs at the beginning of the elves 6th turn. Rookie lineelf Sukmar Stonebrenck took his heart and the ball to a 2-1 lead. This broke the spirit of the orcs and they were caught still deceiding about the best tactic when the ref gave the signal to the last rounds (Blitz!). A Darkie's Dreams blitzer successfully cleared the green lines and stole the ball to a 3-1 victory.
By all rights I should have lost, but somehow I survived my abyssmal armour and injury rolls to tell the tale.
