“Bizarre game. Down to 6 men after 3 turns due to some miserable injury dice, including a failed apothecary on a death. Somehow managed to keep it down to 1 TD difference at the break. Then in the second half, down to 4 men, opponent tried fairly enough to stall, but dropped a ball, and I broke downfield to stall myself for about 3 turns and equalise with 3 men left on the pitch. Finally got 2 KOs back on the field to help defend the final 2 turns, when he could have won, except an unskilled Golem rolled 2 skulls and a both-down in a 3-dice block. Saved.
For all the heroics of getting a result when generally 7 players down, my fan factor still decreased, and this team is basically doomed, despite having 3 really nice players. So will probably play on until they die, or someone sets up a 3/4-a-side league where you can use ranked teams.”
