#4 Inneb Eickler – Dead (RIP)
#11 Sreep Liarbuj – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#11 Sreep Liarbuj – Smashed Collar Bone (-ST)
#14 Doravlas Ser Olas – Dead (RIP)
Nothing more to add.

My team tok serious damage (2 Rip, 2 SI, 1 BH) in the course of the game and the failed apo or the abysmal ko rolls did not help.

I wish you the best of luck. My team again confused the paper made armour with the real ones ;-)

Do not let your opponent get 1D on your ball carrier!

Cheers

#13 Porum – Smashed Hip (-MA)
FC 2nd round match

Some notes on this game--

I hired Heartripper because he has always worked out well for me in elf matchups. He ended up being very useful in the 2nd half, causing 2 cas and a KO to my already outnumbered opponent. Made stalling for the 8 turns much easier. He also caused a KO in the first half on Sinner's best blitzer, and he never came back into the game.

The last few turns of the first half were interesting. I hesitantly decided to cage my ball carrier on the sideline, conceding that I would probably get 1 player crowdpushed. Unfortunately it was my best lineman (Ag5, leap, dodge, strip ball) and he suffered MNG (-1 MA), which will make the next game much more difficult. The crowdpush put him a bit out of position and I was able to easily cage my ag5 leaping witchelf in scoring range for T8. What I did not foresee was him making the 5+ dodge into the cage, pushing my witchelf back on a -2D into one of his own guarders, setting up the 2D on the frenzy followup. Fortunately for me he did not roll a POW or have a RR, and I was just
in scoring range still (2 GFI).

In the second half I had luck with armor breaks and was able to whittle his team down to 5 players. Even though I played a bit sloppy (giving some 1Ds on my ball carrier when stalling, and blitzing with the wrong player in T4), he didn't have enough players to mount a serious defense.

Heartripper will be back next round to take some stabs at pro elves.
