“Playing CDs is always though but my strategy was to let my opponent receive first, getting into good position in turn 6 or 7 to use the wiz .. get the ball and score fast after that ... so i hope for a 1:0 lead for me and the 2:0 fast in the next half ... so far so good ... didn't managed to get into good position for a wiz use in the first half ... 0:1 halftime ... the 1:1 was more luck then skill ... and to blame the dices that i didn't managed to get the ball would be too easy ... no, i just made to many (small) mistakes and my opponent not ... absolutely deserved win for Xenon ... cheers ... good luck in the cup and cu sometimes for a rematch”
Well I drew a better coach with a better team and enough to buy a wizard... rubbish I thought!
The first half goes almost exactly to plan with the exception of having to use my apo on the Troll and only scoring 4 Ko's and an apo'd cas. The numbers were not going to be on my side. Then to cap off the first half the elves BH my SF Guard Blocker.
The 2nd half saw the elves score quickly though and I had time to go for the 2nd TD. Sadly he still had a wizard though. After some nervous turns and the ball bouncing loose I had no option but a pretty tight cage. Blam goes the wizard and only 2/5 players went down... then a push on the ball carrier and I managed the only cas of the match to follow. After this and some bad dice from Mighty_Scoop on some dodges it was an easy corner score... even if I did almost mess it up with a needless GFI... lucky I had illegal drugs on him though to grab the ball and score.
