“This has got to be some sort of record for the most Elves to hit the pitch and not take even a single KO. At one point, I even threw a +3 foul and couldn't even STUN the guy. Meanwhile, TripleSkulls' 4 Blitzers BH 2 and KOed 3-4. He played very well and never gave me a break, and coupled with my really poor luck at casualties, I didn't have much of a chance at all and was totally shut down. I pulled off one nice Hobgob pass, but with half my team out, I couldn't keep the ball. ”
The Beastmasters were a team of Ironmen this game. I do not know if a player was even stunned. Noone left the pitch even for a KO.
Because the Dwarf Blockers were never able to injure a single player I was able to tie each one up with a single lineman. The poor Hobgoblins were no match for the Dark Elf Blitzers and the casualties mounted.
The match should have ended in a 2-0 victory but Coach TheGonk stole the second TD with a miracle play from a lone Hobgoblin that managed to take a ball from triple coverage and complete a long pass.
He did not keep it for long but the steam was gone from the Beastmasters. They failed three pass plays in a row never scoring that second TD.
