This one is for the fans! Truly a game where the fans handed victory to us. To start the game, we received and the fans invaded the pitch and took out one flank of the chaos dwarves...we smacked a few guys around and moved up along that flank. We also kicked a downed dwarf for a RIP (no apoth used). Scoring on turn 2, we kicked off. This time the fans threw a rock hitting a dwarf for a stun. However, they were tough and resilient dwarves...a quick punch up through the middle and Ace Millan was on his way to score. We had a 2d blitz on him...but needed the gfi, and with doom and gloom, we had no RR left and Crash! Into the ground goes the blitzing storm vermin and Ace Millan blitzs his way out - breaking a tackle and using his sure feet to score. Plenty of time was left and Houston pushed forward to score again before the half and go up 2-1. In the second half, the fans lynched the ref so we could foul the dwarves all the second half. (As irony would have it, all the second half fouls were incredibly weak - a few stuns, but no KOs or CAS.) A nice outlet pass to Ace again and we flashed along the right side of the pitch...gfi was needed again and failed again, as the bull centaur raced into the endzone for the 2-2 tie. However, cheering fans helped motivate the Houston Rats and a 3rd receiver grabbed a pass for a TD to go up 3-2. Nuffle then really was not with the chaos dwarves - for after apoth was used on a -ma injury caused by Asher (rat ogre), a vicious block from the clawed storm vermin killed another dwarf...2 double skulls meant no score was possible for the dwarves and on T16, helped by the cheering fans, a pass and catch in a tackle zone translated into another score. However, we salute the fans that helped us along (even if they seemed to be non-paying fans) - and we salute our opponent who fought bravely and well...but them glass jaws of the dwarves did them in this day!”
