“WIL FA Cup II - 1st game

The 'Smashers hit the field and were set on a rough game. The Norse came out with a solid team and amidst them had a monster of a man with ST5 that could even rival the orcs' Troll in strength. Add to this the fact that the norse munched on weird nordic mushrooms and displayed some frenzied anger towards the otherwise feared orcs!

The norse got to start with the ball and set out a good offensive which the orcs just couldn't defend against. The norse even had the un-orcy audacity to stall for a turn before scoring! The orcs cam out with a vengeance after they were scored upon, but a norse Blitz! almost put a stop 'da kunnin' plan'. Some hefty blocking, ball handling and dodging by star 'Smasher 'Baba' Lou meant the score was evens 1-1 before half time.

2nd Half the orcs got to start and set off a quick snap. 'Da kunnin' plan' came to fruition as a jinx on the left side of the field meant the ball was played over to the right and the norde defence were totally confounded by this unorcy behavious. A last desperate blitz was made by the norse but the ball was secure enough in the hands of 'Predator' Pointson for him to score the 2-1 winning TD. Injury time and some minor incidents meant the Norse were hard pressed to score evens and enable them to take the game into OT. But it was not to be and the game ended a very close 2-1 win for the 'Smashers.
