“Things start out well for us when the necros 2nd turn TD attempt slips up on a GFI and i'm able to run in a skink to steal the ball. A good blitz by an enemy werewolf gets the skink covered but it's not enough and Gecko runs in the TD.

Good werewolf moves in the following two turns however secure an equaliser for the necros. But it's not all over for the half despite their 1 turn of stalling and Gecko runs in another good TD in the final turn. 2-1 to the lizards at half time.

2nd half starts with a werewolf blitz towards where the ball's going to land but I retaliate by seriously injuring him, then putting a str 4 wight in the BH box directly afterwards. Ball looks fairly secure behind my kroxi and I push through to make it safe near their endzone, despite taking some saurus injuries. Brave Gecko (+str skink and scorer of the first 2 TDs) gets a niggling injury when he steps in to help take down the werewolf and the apothecary is brought in to save the fan favorite - without result! Lucky 13 walks in the touchdown right after this travesty to make it 3-1.

A long kick means a trip to the end zone for the agi 4 wight passer and by the time he gets back he's a long way from his target werewolf and he ends up fumbling the ball! A few skinks push in but he's able to blitz out and get the ball somehow - surely he was an elf before he became a wight! However a lot of lizards surround him and despite his succesful pass attempt the ball ends up caught by a skeleton instead of the werewolf! This is quickly recovered by the lizards and Lucky 13 finds himself almost certain to score a 2nd TD. However an incredible blitz by a rookie zombie (including a dodge and a go for it) stuns lucky 13 and sees the zombie catch the ball! (note: this zombie was given the MVP!) In my next turn the blitzing saurus manages to catch the ball which is exactly what I didn't want as he couldn't reach the endzone or hand it off this turn! The match ends 3-1
