“Today we witnessed a great first round Royal Rookie Rumble match, which was thrilling just until the last second.

The brand new teams Mr. Cake and his Posse (Elves) and Warriors of Tholoque (Amazons) met to decide who would proceed to the 2nd round of RRR CIV.

Facing the even opponent, the Elves had a great start. After receiving the Kick-Off, they were too quick to be stopped and scored during the second turn.

Then the rest of the first half, the Amazones tried to reach the end zone in vain.
Hiding their ball carryer, they would never pass the great and disciplined defense of couch baresveda.
In the last turn the Linewoman Quathilijn Hardskin received a pass from the thrower Kharima Bighand but failed on dodging while running for the point.

During the second half, the Amazons again secured the ball carryer and tried to reach the end zone. This time they were luckyer in breaking through the defense and scored in the last turn, in order to prevent a counter scoring before the extra time.

After the regulation time, the players gathered on the field and the Elves were chosen to Kick-off again.
Being advanteged by a Touch Back, the tired Amazons got the ball instantly and then again stick to their tactic of securing the ball carryer and slowly moving in the direction of the end zone.
This worked quite well, since the opponent`s players suffered from hard bashing, and finally ended in the Warriors of Tholoque scoring during the last turn.

After this first success, the Amazons will either face a Norse, or an Ogre team.
Unfortunately two players will miss the game, so the team would have to start with only 10 on the pitch. Maybe they will find a freebooter, who would join them.
We will see soon in a hopefully again astonishing game.”
