“First game of Warpstone Open Qualifier VII.
The Nighthawks started with the ball and scored in turn 2.
The ball got kicked towards the orcs who had a long and tough drive to score in turn 8.
2. half, the Orkoholics get the ball and start their march. Urzula Razorkiss is killed and the apo fails. In turn 7 the orc thrower is crowdpushed and the ball ends up in the orcs' half of the field. Elon Karinot dodges away, picks up the ball and is within scoring range. Turn 8 for the orcs, the wizard fails to knock Karinot down and the is no one within blitzing range. A single BOB does however manage to get a TZ on karinot. All karinot has to do is dodge away for the score. Well... He didn't. Snake eyes send the game into overtime where the Nighthawks score in two turns. The orcs recreate the first half success, killing superstar blitzer Tullaris in turn 7 and score in turn 8. The coin is flipped and the Orkoholics is on to 2. round of the qualifiers.
All in all it was a great game, by far one of the most exciting I've played on Fumbbl. And my second loss to orcs ever. Besides from the failed apo and the snaked dodge in turn 16 I really can't be anything but happy with it.

i tried to win the match at the end of 2.half. with the risk of loosing all.
the Nighthawks who played a tough defence, became the big chance to win the game before overtime.
but Elon Karinot was too tired in T16 to score.
the matchwinners on my side are Kaltchek Blutwahn who scored twice and Mahlwerk Mahlzahn who killed the first time in his career, both, the witch and the blitzer star Tullaris.
a shame that my ST5 blitzer Gringo Getzel will miss the next match against the ogres.
