“Nice with a match report for a change:). Vampyres played a solid game and refused to get hurt, not much the evil(?) lizards could do, despite it being very very sunny! Thralls, as usual, had to handle the game. The head coach do not trust vampires very much, hence the strange distribution of sps in the team. Thralls FTW!
Everything went our way, we did not even have to bring out the big firepowah (the dirty players, well one foul). Once we had the greater number of players on the pitch, hardly no skinks left for Clarkin, we did not let the game slip and won comfortable with 4-1.
Gained two skills, both doubles, but one thrall niggled. Now 3 guards on thralls.
Good luck with your team and may there be a 200th ranked game on fumbbl that you can celebrate with a victory:). Thanks for the game”

My favorite team of lizardmen took on an evenly matched team of vamps featuring mostly thralls with skills.
We start with the ball and a saurus pickup but the vamps burst through a gap in my line caused by kroxi's boneheadedness (which I didn't notice!). They grab the ball with a vamp and we mark him with a saurus, a DT skink and the kroxi's tail- but he still dodges away to score the first TD of the match!
Then our coach is afflicted with bone-headedness, setting up to kick not receive, whoops! We grab the ball despite this and start pushing up, at one point a rookie skink covering the ball is KILLED by a simple thrall blitz - the apo doesn't even look up from his newspaper and the game goes on. We score on turn 6 but have taken another skink BH by then so we are really low on numbers now vs the vampire hordes. They get a touchback and push up one side with a lot of thralls and score nicely in 2 turns with a good push to move my 2 marking saurus out of the way.
In the second half they make it 3-1 after removing more of my lizards, leaving me with 4 saurus, the kroxi and a single skink to receive with. We try our best but once again they pile in and make it 4-1 without much trouble- our apothecary eventually called in to fix the kroxi's SI after he trips trying to break tackle!
