Da Rippas win our first SMACK trophy! And, more importantly, Komog celebrates the victory with casualty #74, becoming the top active Orc blocker! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH for Komog!

The DE had four players missing from round 2, so they were down in numbers from the start. Da Rippas defended patiently in the first half, keeping Komog back as safety. The DE didn't make a run for it, but tried to stall, and eventually ran out of both time and players under da Rippas' pressure. One failed dodge too many and the ball was ours! The DE wizard stepped in to try and save the half, but even though his fireball brought down the ball-carrier and the elves made a heroic last turn, it was fairly easy for da Rippas to score 1-0 before half-time.

In the 2nd half da Rippas just did our thing against the crippled elves and stalled out the 2-0 win. The DE tried some desperate dodges into the cage to hit the ball-carrier on 2d against, but never got him down.
