“The first half opened up poorly for the Blackstone Legion. While their blocking was solid, they were slow and Butchers Choice danced around them to score (from Topside of beef) early. When the Legion got the ball back, poor ball handling lead to the Butchers reacquiring the ball and scoring again with Gammon, leaving little time left. The Legion tried to start a last minute drive, but it sputtered out against the Butchers front line. Injuries for the first half left Oreas-Thar out for the Legion.

In the second half things looked up for the legion. A pass from Helian to Kherath lead to another early score and the possibility of a comeback. The Butchers made a determined drive deep into Legion territory before loosing control of the ball. With injuries mounting, especially for the Legion, Helian made a daring end run around most of the players. He managed to avoid several tackle attempts, but tripped up while dodging around a pair of Butchers in a last minute run to score as time ran out.”
