“Tale XIII: Wise Men

Once upon a time a small group of wise old men got lost in the woods. They were experts of numbers and counting, but little did they know about a forest. So they got lost. Wandering for hours and hours they couldn't find the right path. They sat down tired and tried to calculate where they were exactly. Every sage had a different idea, so they started to fight. After the dust settled a strange looking owl spoke to them from one of the trees. "Wise men, i can show you a path out of the forest if you play a game with us." The answer didn't come fast, because the lost theorists had to agree on the subject of speaking owls. Finally thesy came to the conclusion that at least one of those exists. After that they accepted the offer. Strange, sinister creatures emerged from the depths of the woods and the game began. The lost men couldn't overcome the dark faeries, they fell one by one. Dark Pixies taunted them in their misery and a beautiful woman on a throne of bones was laughing at them. Finally broken and humiliated they were chased out of the woods.”
