“Yes, absolutely, I dropped players for a handicap. He had three nigglers and I was shooting for a Virus...Junkel's a dangerous player and I needed all the help I can get.
That said, I didn't make him host for that reason, I made him host because the last time I hosted in the semis I screwed up the game and was forced to play it again, and I didn't want that.
Watch the replay. He came after me as hard with his DP at the start (Cas-ing 2 ghouls) as I did, because he was PO'ed at me. THat's fine. This is blood bowl. I have no issues with the fouls, I have no issues with his anger, I have no issues with the fact that he won the game because of two 1 die block pows in a row when he had 2 players left on the pitch.
I have issues with an apology made not because he's truly sorry, but because he "resorted" to saying something that, in the moment, he actually believed. This is Blood Bowl. It's a game. I played the game by the rules, and I played to win. If he has issues with my tactics, he should speak to the league organizers about prohibiting what I did.
But please don't be sorry...no issues here, no hard feelings here. I'm sorry you were offended by the TR maneuver...but it's blood bowl, and at the moment, it's legal. It's a tourney final, never been to one before, did everything I could to win. (INCLUDING the fouling, I was working towards winning the game in overtime when you could only field 5-6).
You gave as good as you got. If nothing else , this is the start of one heck of a league rivalry. :)”
