“Pain State took the field versus the UCLA Bruins. On paper it looked to be a lopsided contest. The Dark Elves superior maneuverability and strong passing game should be able to score at will. Pain State's lack of good tacklers would just multiply the bruin's advantage. But several Bruins fell ill after discovering that goblin Penn State fans had supplemented the team Gatorcade, with Pus Lovesneeze's Dirty Socks! The Ripe concoction had clearly been "brewing" for several weeks!

The Witch Elves quickly cast their spell of demonic computing, and my PC crashed. However we quickly restarted and got under way in earnest. My Rookie Phenom Lineorc broke through and blitzed the ballcarrier, several supporting orcs rushed in and it looked as though the orcs would score a defensive TD, but Coach Slolivin had other ideas, he marshalled his troops and worked the ball up the sideline to score to end the half.

Elves kick to Pain State who grind their way to a turn 7 TD, leaving the elves with 2 turns to score. Despite successfully throwing a goblin to assist, dodging through tacklezones to blitz, and then picking up the ball in a TZ, somehow, the Dark Elves were able to get the ball back and score. It was a truly Epic ending to a quality match! I'll take that kinda loss any day! ”
