“Turpasauna-tournament final match.
The match started out pretty even with me defending and dwarves pushing steadily towards my endzone. Count von Luthenborg showed again just how useful he is on the field by dodging to blitz and knock over the dwarf ST4 ball carrier.
After this the ball was bouncing around in the middle, where my catcher managed to get it and run to score 1-0 goal just as the half ended.
The second half started with my humans on the offense and I decided to go for a quick goal with the Count. No problems there, went through from one side and brought some support for the vampire. The dwarves had no means to stop him and he scored, making the game now 2-0.
Next I set up defense and got a lucky blitz from kickoff. I pushed through with 2 blitzers and a catcher. My blitzer got the ball straight from the kickoff. The dwarves failed to stop him and he scored 3-0.
The dwarves were starting to be short of players and they didn't manage to get enough support for the ball carrier when he pushed through my defense. The dwarf got knocked over and the vampire was again running with the ball to score 4-0 just before the game ended.”

Wanted to score a bit too much and that guaranteed the big loss.
Didn't have as much luck in critical rolls compared to the opponent, especially in the first half, but overall I don't blame luck - It was my greed that cost me the game. That, and the fact that I constantly managed to ignore guard skills :-D
