Zendzabar is very pleased.

The Chargers looked pathetic on the opening kick-off, watching the Drag-queens play almost perfectly, scoring a defensive touchdown. Eventually the dwarves warmed up and started to take control of the game. Blard was seen sneaking away from the scene of the injured elf Avalorn, with fresh blood on his hobnailed boots, as the paraclerics rushed onto the pitch. Sarton, team captain of the Chargers, stole all the winds from the elves sails right before the half... tearing poor Acorn's throat out with his teeth (the damage was too great for the apothecary to fix). Followed shortly after by a game-tying touchdown by Merz... sending this one into the half 1-1.

The second half, saw the Chargers totally imposing their will on the wretched Drag-queens. Brood tasted blood for the first time, sending one of the elves from the game. Gord and Merz each scored touchdowns enroute to a strong showing by the Chargers, easily winning the match 3-1. Meanwhile the Drag-queens must lick their wounds, having suffered the loss of three elves in their last two matches.

Zendzabar was so pleased with the Charger's win, he enlisted his nephew to play for them... Zendmakar will make his debut for the team when they face off against Death from Dark Omen. He was heard to have said, "Mummies, pah, bull-centaurs are the chosen".

Wow, this game was rough. It started out with like a 35-90% luck difference against me and before I could react, I was down 1-0 and things looked bleak. Then I sacrificed some virgins and regained Nuffle's favor, completely reversing the luck in my favor. Method couldn't do much after the first few turns and the apo failing really sucked for him... it was the only perm inflicted.

#6 Acorn – Dead (RIP)
The Dragoons now have the most deaths for a team in the D.A.L, with 3 of their number passing away.
Aside from the opening drive, the dice gods did not favor the high elves, as another apothecary roll failed.
Bad luck besides, the game seemed to mainly consist of the Dragoons attempting desperate actions, stemming from the lack of men that could take to the pitch.
Well played by Wraith.
Heading into mid-season the Dragoons have all but been eliminated from play-off contention, having played all the bashy teams in their division in the first 4 games.

HOPEFULLY with 2 elf teams on the remaining schedule , the Dragoons will not lose any more members.......
but i doubt it.
