Bandy was able to bash away most of the immediate threats, and would have marching down for a score, had it not been for the Vengeance wizard. The wiz cast a well placed fireball to knock away the ball from the Bandylag ballcarrier, as well as knock down his guards. Slaq capitalized on the opportunity, blitzing to the ball and running away for the Touchdown. The determined Bandylag team almost equalized in the last seconds of the first half, but for some good defensive positioning by Vangeance, and some poor luck by Bandylag.

Down to 6 remaining players for the second half (after an attentive ref showing the chainsaw the door), Vengeance tried their best elf impersonations by playing keep away, but to no avail. The ref also had his eye out for fouling Bandylagers, and was quick to boot them out, but for every player Bandy lost, it seemed Vengeance lost one also. Bandylag bashed down the Vengeance players easily, and ran to the early second half score. Vengeance gave it their all to push the ball forward, through the glaring noon-time sun, but Bandylag positioned themselves carefully, and were able to grab the loose ball and score.
