Our Khemri face maxblb's orcs, though having lost 2 players to niggle-retirement in their last game they will be at a disadvantage. With our continued product-placement deals (in today's game our skeletons will all be polished with Blizgug's Bone-Shine (TM) - try it yourself!) we find our coffers are overflowing with gold and can afford to hire Ramtut once again!
The orcs decide to hire Ripper Bolgrot to even out the str difference! The fans are going to love this one!

And yes- it's too much for them as the sight of two of their beloved stars on the pitch causes a pitch invasion! 2 mummies and a thro-ra are left stunned as well as a black orc and Ripper himself!

Once order is restored we grab the ball and push forward with all our mummies, looking for some green blood. However their high armour is proving invaluable as they keep standing back up, and our attack is going nowhere. Near the end of the half some good orc blitzing knocks the ball loose and we're very lucky they fail the pickup (with RR) or they might have been away and hard to reach! Instead we're able to blitz down their blodge/guard blitzer and seriously injure him- the apothecary fails too!

But we're running out of time here and are forced to make a kamikaze rush forwards with our skeleton on the ball, and the orcs easily knock him down making it impossible for us to manage to get ahead this half. We are left with a turn of trying to hurt the greenskins- and it really comes together with a guard lineman killed and another of their blitzers seriously injured!

With 2 players each in the KO box (including a mummy for us) we set up 11 vs just 9 orcs for the second half. We need to get stuck in here and prevent an early score. They badly hurt a rookie skeleton on the LOS but then a skilless Black Orc causes a turnover immediatly after due to lack of Block and we're able to push forward and put pressure on the blitzer with the ball in the form of Ramtut. The orcs recall all their players to get him down but their blitzer still hasn't moved the ball from it's spot! We get some mummy-blockin in and then our DP gets to work- killing a Black Orc!

Ripper gets angry at this point, KILLing one of our best mummies! Fortunately the mummy's pieces are put together in our reserve box where he comes together to shake a bandaged fist at the famous troll!

The orcs are making some excellent moves pushed on by desperation and several times manage to dodge through and put our ball carrier under pressure- the remaining blodge blitzer is proving a nightmare to remove or mark for us (no tackle!) and when we try and foul him off the pitch we fail even to break armour (at +5) and get sent off. This gives him a 1d blitz attempt on our ball carrier with just 2 turns left, but we're fortunate when it turns up a skull (they are out of rerolls). We score on our 2nd last turn with a sigh of relief.

We outpunched the orcs for the most part but as ever we had trouble getting the ball into the endzone!
