“After having played a few games of Blood Bowl in the Old World, Grimtoof's Gutrippers embarked on a four match tour of the lands of the Undead.

The first half featured missed opportunities on both sides. Grimtoof came close only to be denied by Blitz-Ra BuBU and at the other end Blitz-Ra Guno slipped, denying BlackViper a chance to score.

The second half started with BlackViper receiving the ball. Throw-Ra Trewa followed his blocks down the left hand side and looked certain to score, only for Grimtoof, who had come all the way around the back of the Khemrian team, to flatten the passer. Unfortunately the Khemrians had been conducting a wildly successful war of attrition on the line of scrimmage, leaving the Orcs heavily outnumbered. With Grimtoof swamped under a mound of Undead players, and after a couple of failed attempts to get their bony hands on the pigskin, Skeleton Juje finally managed to pick up the ball in the end zone for a touchdown.

With little time left on the clock, Gorblad attempted a risky run down the left wing but was stopped by another excellent blitz from BuBU, denying the Gutrippers their last chance at a draw.

Player of the Game: Grimtoof. On a somewhat disappointing day for the Gutrippers, Grimtoof again showed his class and fighting spirit with quality play all around the pitch.”
