With only seven players available, the Norse team looked pretty thin from the start and the Gutrippers soon took advantage, working the ball down the right wing and allowing Gorblad to score. From the restart Catcher Ydob tried to dodge through the Orc line only to stumble and drop the ball. Grimtoof reacted quickly to snaffle the ball but a succession of handling errors combined with some fearless Norse defence meant time ran out before they could achieve anything.
When Lineman Silencio fumbled the opening kickoff of the second half the Gutrippers quickly took advantage. Good support from his teammates allowed Kargad to score.
By the next kickoff the battered Norse had only three players left on the pitch. Thrower Snakes took the ball deep into Orc territory and was unlucky not to score. The Gutrippers recovered the ball though and made use of their by now overwhelming numerical advantage to clear a path for Scumgut to score. Meanwhile Gorblad had killed Snakes, pounding him into the turf and breaking his back.
As the dust cleared from the blood soaked pitch, Grimtoof's Gutrippers had recorded their largest ever victory.
Player of the Game: Gorblad (christened Norseslayer after the game). Not only did he score himself but he also played a crucial role in Kargad touchdown and, most importantly, sent Snakes on a fiery ride to Hell.
