“The Raiders delivered the first loss to the Smallville Smiters in a match that exhausted nearly the entire rat team proving the Raiders can party with the best of them!

The festivities began with the rats delivering not one but two kegs of drunken goat wine and matching goat cheese.

On the opening kickoff, erm, well, not actually a kick, the rats brought the ball out onto the pitch because not a single fling could kick the ball. Scotty drunk and ate himself sick in the first minute of the game as Lex kept bringing tray after tray of goodies to the fat little porker. But the rest of the rats just didn't get it. Supergirl walked into the endzone with the ball and unopposed, confused, and not really understanding how to party.

The next kickoff was to the Raiders, and thus the party really began to swing. The ref got good and drunk. There was so much food that the Raiders ran out of table space and used a treeman as an extra table. Being good sports, the treemen alternated table duty to assure equal party time.

The Smallville theme was played by the band and the Raiders sought out and danced with each Smallville babe. Lana Lang was the favorite till she collapsed (It is said the raiders kept pieces of her armor as souveniers.) Then they danced with Lois. A jealous refereee, turned down numerous times for a dance by Lois, ejected several halflings before Lois too collapsed.

At the end of the game it was Bizzarro who proved to be the best rat partier. He consumed more beverage and eats than the rest of the Smallville team. He then danced only two clumbsy steps, but a dance is a dance. The Raiders chanted "Toga Toga Toga, Boom Boom Boom" in approval of the last rat standing.

Such was the fabulous match. Before calling it a night and leaving for a good rest, the entire rat team came up to shake the branches of Willow Bramblewood for his commitment to tabling all the goodies.
