So, entertaining the tough looking 85ers was not the greatest prospect but this side are made of sterner stuff than my orcs. I took great pleasure in seeing a succession of early injuries fall in VeV's favour.

Before the match Longbeard Jack Osbourne was not looking well. A goblin had sold him some unmarked bottles with funky steaming liquid in them, promising that they would boost his chances of playing but instead they made him unwell.

His strength was sorely missed by the 85ers. Each time VeV kicked, an aggressive defense poured through the wide open offensive lines as Pirigrin relied on long throws instead of the usual dwarven inch-by-inch maul up the pitch. The victory margin may have been smaller had he been more conservative, but in the end the only damage the 85ers could do was to injure, in the last moments of the match, the utterly useless ogre Surdo Oppedere (which itself means "to belch in front of the deaf", a saying for a useless action) who was not his usual useless self today and played his part in the overall domination.

Both apothecaries failed to help the stricken ogre and dying Kendra Wilkinson. Apparently somebody had nabbed their potions their potions before the game! The bottles were found, quaffed, in the dwarf lockers.”
