“Zendzabar is not pleased.

Lexem "The Lost", who developed a trick elbow after only 5 matches, missed his first game since it started bothering him. Down 10 vs 11 to the tricksy elves, the Chargers kicked the ball and played a soft defense, giving up a pitch and catch touchdown shortly into the match. On the ensuing kick, the elves rushed the Charger's backfield before they could react. This must have baffled them, as they immediately started falling down trying to defend against the elves.

Down 2-0 within the first few moments of the game, put the Chargers in a deep hole that they couldn't seem to climb out of. During the second half, the Chargers got the ball first and methodically drove down the field, poised to tie the game and go for the win on defense, having removed a fair amount of the elves from the field. Alas, Bleckamar, sprinting towards the end zone, slipped on some elven blood at the goal line and went down. Miraculously, Uyque Do Lor, slips out from the center of dwarves, picks up the ball that was lying next to Bleckamar and proceeds to pitch it to another elf... who slips through the grasp of Zendmakar, turning a potential 2-2 into a 3-1 victory for the elves.

Very rough match for both of us... I had some inopportune rolls at key times, but almost cleared the pitch. Meanwhile, Tirofijo had some amazing rolls when he needed them, but had most of his team in the injury box. The 3rd TD he scored was pretty much "touched" by Nuffle. Makes a dodge into 2 tackle zones (no dodge skill), then another dodge out, picks up the ball, runs over and hands it off to a player in a tackle zone, who then runs along the sidelines (2 dodge rolls, 1 with a -1, also no dodge skill) to throw a perfect pass.... failed the catch, but this streak was done with out a reroll. Lots of double 1's by both of us in the game though.

Hell of a game, could have went either way, great job Tirofijo... see you next season.”
