#11 Esto Perpetua – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#11 Esto Perpetua – Smashed Knee (NI)
Was fighting the dice as much as the undead in this game and subsequently it was a drubbing. The only real mistake I can point to is a perhaps unecessary attempted dodge by a ball carrying warrior after fortuitously turning over their second half drive (my only luck of the game) - it was probably wiser to just block with him and try and survive the maul, as he was a mummy down for this drive. I just went for the space and failed! It may have been a draw otherwise. Still, he failed no pickups, where I failed rerolled catches (notably to level the game in the first half). He suffered no skulls, where I doubled then pushed on the reroll. Just one of those games where every extra go for it needed a reroll and that meant I couldn't keep his on-form ghouls at bay. The niggle was avoidable but I used the apo to keep the game competitive when an ST5 warrior got injured (MNG only).

I look forward to evening the score in a rematch.
