“Beeing chalenged by a well known team of Wood Elves the Fangorn Leafrippers decided that it was time to reenter the realm of professional Blood Bowl. Their long absence from the pitch made them quite nervous vs this slightly tougher and way more experienced adversary.

The 'Trees' befriended Fairies used their charming skills to make Treehead Woodfist slumber for the first half, after quite an exciting night.
A blizzard harassing both teams at the kickoff left the Leafrippers in a bad mood and the first blows upon their adversaries went to the head or the very center of the body. The first (2 turn) TD was scored in the oldfashioned WE manner: cross the whole field with a handover and do a pass to the receiver already waiting in the endzone.
Perfect defense and a blitz in the first half led to a clear advantage for the Leafrippers. The Trees were still a chilled by the blizzards breath and stumbled throu the first half, loosing control of the game by loosing sure blocks and injuring on risky dodges.

The second half nuffl evened out his favor and the Trees were able to realize some strategies. Knowing this game was a sure win if they focused on their defense the Fangorn Leafrippers showed the fans their pofessional attitude and were able to win 5-3.
