“Well, Ice Nine is finding its footing in veteran.

Ryce was hoping for some more generous handicaps as Ice Nine faced yet another experienced veteran NWL team, but that would not be the case. Armed with a trick coin and some smelling salts, the chaos dwarves would have to win this on their own.

A lucky block would send the orc troll out for the game (and the next... thank me later, Ducks!) and the dwarves koed their way down to a tough td. The orcs would not be able to respond, thanks to a blitz by Trimble Tromble that would send the orc thrower into the crowd.

The orcs would return hoping to tie. Ice Nine fought valiantly, lead by Lord Kelvin, but a mid half blitz would have the sure-footed Kelvin stumble and fall. After that, the orcs held the ball and held off the chaos dwarves until the bell rang. Lou Igloo proceeded to foul in protest and the crowd cheered until he too was kicked out of the game. :)

To top off the insult, the only dwarf to skill would age on his first roll! Still, the fans finally liked what they saw in the fighting Ice Niners and awarded them with fame and money. Ryce retired the promising, though injured, Absolut Zero and hired a new bull centaur.

With their veteran record at 0-1-2, Ryce is hoping this game portents greater things for the Ice Nine.”
