“The game started quite good for the Tigers. The Dwarfs kicked off and the Woodelves controled the ball and the pit. In turn 5 they decided to move the game towards the Dwarfish Endzone, but the Elven Thrower misthrew the short pass. The Dwarfen Runner managed to dodge his way towards the ball and threw it back in the direction of the Thrower, but next to one of his little and tough Longbeards. The Thrower went to get the ball took it, dodged one square in order to throw the ball again - and was tackled by the Longbeard! That same Longbeard than managed to pick up the ball and ran towards the Endzone! The lucky Elves managed to blitz him however, the Thrower picked up the ball and finally managed the pass, leading to the 1-0 TD in Turn 7!
But the Elves were obviously celebrating too much, as the y played a shitty defence the last turn of the half and the Dwarfes nearly managed to equalize! But the perfect pass from the Dwarfen Runner was not catched by his collegue - end of the first half.

In the second half the Dwarfes cleared the pit of Elvish players very fast. The remaining few Tigers had no chance against the aggressive Dwarfes, trying desperate moves to get the ball without much success. The Dwarfes scored without problem in turn 8, leaving the Tigers the slight chance to win the game with a one turner. As some of the KOed Elves returned, 4 Elves and 2 Treeman tried this task. They managed to get a Catcher pushed far enough into the field, he caught the ball, went to the endzone - and was tackled by a Longbeard just in time to prevent the score! - Overtime!

To make it short, the rest of the game was a slaughter! All Elves were put out of their misery and the two Treemen were also lying on the pitch most of the time.
Without any opposition left, the Dwarfs tried some fancy passing game, but stopped in time with their ball fumbling in ortder to score for the win in the last turn.

Congrats to Zuul, this was a very hard&fun game!
