The fans were intense and the competition wild...in Mordor blood MUST be spilled! Only the strongest will survive and the foolish servants of Nagash are not strong! They knew that they were weak (just a quick glance at last season's 2-0 defeat by us confirms that)...so they retired a zombie to make room for the Count to come and give them added power.

The first half the ball went to the necro team and they started to bash and foul right away. The Corsairs were uncertain...their coach did not order the dirty players to hold up...and as a result, after missing the first foul, the next two fouls resulted in 2 dirty players ejected for the necro. In addition, our clumped position forced them to leave the ball vulnerable to get assists for the fouls. The result was that the ball was knocked free and the Corsairs recovered and moved downfield. It was not easy, and a 1 assist foul on T8 managed to kill our team captain Ar-Surin....however, the apothecary saved him. We stalled out the half (well, could not have scored sooner anyway) and it was 1-0 and both werewolves stayed nicely in the KO box.

The second half we received and immediately set out to clear the pitch and stall to limit the damage the necro team could do...it worked with a flesh golem being killed, a wight was badly hurt (regened) and then a zombie was badly hurt (regened), 3 more players were KOed as well and another necro dp was ejected. However, the necros still had 5 players on the field - and another foul resulted in Captain Ar-Surin's second death of the game...

The game ended 2-0 in our favor again, and the loss of our captain simply makes room for another captain to step up and take charge!”
