“Crimson Eclipse recieved the ball and scored about midway through the first giving Doomhooves Deluxe some time to return fire. The Dark Elves played some stingy defense in the first half and prevented the forces of Chaos to score with a little help from Lady Luck. After an easy dodge (snake eyes) that tripped up Elric, she struck at DD with a clumsy block by a Chaos Dwarf that ended up dropping the attacker instead of the intended victim (double skulls). The half ended with the Darkies up by one and hanging on by a thread.

Second half started and DD recieved the ball. The ball exchanged possessions at least three times until it finally settled in Tohx Powerhoof's grimy hands. With some good blocking they were able to even up the game with only a few turns left on the clock.

It was up to Coach Nathaniel to draw up a play with the remaining eight Elves still able to go on. Darkstorn dropped back and threw a nice pass to Malikith with a Dwarf all over his cloak. The Witch Lord managed to shake him loose and tried to hand off to Elric but it was broken up by another DD player. The Dwarves knocked a couple Darkies on the ball but it backfired and landed in Elric's capable hands.

Elric was surrounded by a couple Dwarves and a lumbering Troll. He looked at the clock and sweat poured down his face. With an athletic leap he jumped over the opposition and dodged away. He saw Malikith in the end zone for the quick pass to win the game.
