“The war of attrition claims another victim, as we get all shorthanded and blow a 2-0 lead. Frank is our second death -- and after the apothecary's intervention, our third death. (It's permanent the second time.) We didn't feel as though we had outrageously bad luck, though the client seems to disagree, but a few things went wrong, and we end up with the draw.

On the bright side, War claimed a casualty, bringing him to 9 in 6 games. Mummies got the MVP, and the game's only skill -- an agility increase. Doesn't really fit with his mighty blow, but what can you do? Someone offers you agility, you take it. And Bill Murray scores his second TD; I never thought of the guy as especially versatile, but maybe it's different in Blood Bowl. He's a passer with strength 4, and he's already scored twice. Works for me, Bill.

All in all, an entertaining enough game, though it's never fun being down three or more players. We may clear out some of our more injured guys shortly -- though then again, it's not like we have a tournament to prepare for or anything. Still, I get the sense this team would be a real killer at TR130 or so... might wait until we have a bit more money to guard against the risk of a few quick injuries decimating us beyond repair. ”
