#5 Mohinder Suresh – Broken Ribs (MNG)
By the end of the first half I was beginning to regret accepting the game offered by the human team....

By rights, we should have pounded them, but two Chaos Warriors off the pitch early on, and refusing to come back for later drives, left Save the Cheerleader on the back foot.

Some bad dice, and lucky recovery from the humans on turn 8 saw them go 1-0 up, and we never recovered.

Despite the dice eating through my re-rolls, I made some silly mistakes (misclicked twice, and threw a 1 dice block by accident, got skull, reroll, skull!) Teach me to not concentrate on the game, and try and do things in between turns.

Although I moaned about the dice, I don't want to take anything away from Tiquirius - he played well, and set up some well thought out defence for the ball carrier, leaving me with little hope of getting through and stopping the rot.

His only 'mistake' was to set up his ST4 blitzer only 1 square from the sidelines on turn 1.... the mino however, useless as usual, went wild animal on turn 1, took the chance to blitz on turn 2 and knocked HIMSELF over... the lack of crowdsurfing was disappointing, and the chaos team struggled to deal with the ST4 blitzer for the rest of the match - that player was definately the turning point. Moral of the story? Next time foul harder!!! ;O)

Nuffle decided the outcome of this match with subtle dice rolls that I did not pick up on until watching the replay.

(1) Nuffle blessed Sylar the Minotaur with extra rage for the match. Unfortunately for his coach, Sylar used up most of his rage howling instead of bashing.

(2) The Chaos Warrior in the horned rimmed glasses delivered a cheap shot to team favorite Jason and badly hurt him. This infuriated his teammates and resulted in repeated gang fouls from a group of 4 Extraordinarily Human players seeking retribution. Although Noah Bennett was only knocked out he refused to come back on the pitch until the end of the game.

(3) The shoddy work of the groundskeeper paid dividends for the Extraordinarily Humans. The opposing team tripped time and again and were unable to find good footing.

Xavier definitely had an amazing game but he over exerted himself when he ran the length of the pitch for his score. The team apothecary thinks he pulled a hamstring and will never run the same. Said apothecary has been executedreplaced.
