Handicaps in Russo's favour were: Buzzing, Doom&Gloom and Bad Press.
After pythrr had mauled Russo's team with 1/4/2 casualties, Russo's elves were hardly in much shape to be too great a threat to the undead... however, there was enough to watch for with Ag5 everywhere, a Dauntless and Elrond (the str4 freaky elf).
We received 1st half and made no delay in scoring, but this gave the elves plenty of time to counter, which they did very easily it must be said.
2nd half was decided by a couple of bad dice from Russo when he left the ball exposed and failed 1 move, and then immediately afterwards fumbled the ball after the ag5 thrower picked the ball up in 2 x TZs and doged out again. The ball was scooped up by my ag4 ghoul, and the game was over...
However Russo continued to bowl over undead players, crowd pushing Spittle Toadskin and niggling him... However, in the end it was interesting on the casualty front as the elves made just as many as the undead... I'm not sure where we get a reputation from for being a bruising team because after 35 games we have a casualty difference of just 21 (52/38/12 - 41/25/15) which isn't much for a "bashy" side...
Was played in good spirits... with me even restraining to foul Elrond when he was prone and surrounded by 3 players already. It took great restraint I can tell you! :)
