I only entered the SMACK looking for dorfs, so was a half-hearted effort when I realised none had entered.
Da Gitz played a great first half, a thoroughly deserved to finish it 1-0 up.
2nd half I never really stood a chance, I set up poorly for a Blitz Kick off result, did my best to recover the situation, but found myself 2 players down and out of possession by turn 2 and decided to preserve my layers for orc killing rather than dragging out the game

Da Gitz face very evenly matched Orcs in the first round. We brought a wizard, who would prove decisive.
Da Gitz received first, and scored 1-0 in T6 with a focused drive and in complete control of the pitch. Da Uns had three turns to score back, but their Thrower failed the first pick-up and that made it closer to 2-0 than to 1-1. But in the end nobody scored, so 1-0 at half-time.
The 2nd half started with a blitz!!!, but da Uns got out of that and put the ball on ST5 Blitzer Azhug. He was immediately KO'd by lightning though, and da Gitz could steal the ball, cage up and secure the win. Da Uns didn't even try to get the ball back, but just fouled to get their best players sent off. Da Gitz found this silly, but used the time and space to score 2-0 on our rookie BOB.
