Second game in Season #11 and once again the cannot perform the most basic functions of blood bowl. Dodging, Blocking and making any kinda of postive play when it matters just eludes this team. It is amazing that the Bucs fans stick around to watch these guys. A few fans have commented its a good break from their everyday lives to witness people more inept than themselves. Hey atleast those fans are honest and give us some gold crowns for our efforts.

OH the actual game report. Well the Bucs once again get off to a good start, getting our hopes up. BUT in the end the bungling and stumbling starts to happen and what should have been a 2-0 lead, based on the standard performance level of the vast majority of blood bowl teams, turned into a 1-1 tie at half down 2 players which in short order turned into down 5 men and a bunch of blood on the field of play as the Bucs were run over.

This match makes the Bucs last 10 game record a staggering 1 win 8 losses and a tie. The Tie was due to the other team rolling double 1 on a GFI for the game winner and the WIn was a game were allmost every block the Bucs threw was a CAS or KO. BUT in the end they still had to fight their way for a win up 5 men the entire second half.

BUT the Buccaneers keep moving forward hoping and praying that a player will arrive that will galvanize this team into a "force" on the pitch. Sadly we are still waiting.

Last season ended with a bruising from the Blood Sea Buccaneer's swan song game... or so we thought. Lo and behold, those dirty humans decided to try and sneak their way into premiere. ICE NINE had other plans...

It didn't start well, with a pitch invasion stunning six Ice Nine players. The Bloody Sea would score easily. Then blitz their own kick to recover the onside kick! Not good, but the chaos dwarves were ready to mount a defense this time. Toro Gorehoof liberated the ball and strolled in for the tie in the closing seconds of the half.

Ice Nine would get the kick off fair and square this time. They marched down the field, losing the ball a couple times, but eventually the agile Shiv Shiver picked up the ball off the snowy field and sauntered in for the winning TD.

With the increased fan factor and enough money to replace Grimble Gromble, Ice Nine is hoping to keep up the good, dirty work of winning games. Good game Pain, and good luck with the Buccaneers.
