#2 Fox Heldenhammer – Dead (RIP)
What a game sports fans, The very thing Bloodbowl is all about!
Death, maiming, scoring and all while the sun split the trees.

The game was a tight tactical display from both sides, with the Dogs pushing deep into the Bards endzone. But anyone who thought the French men would roll over easly was in for a shock, their defense only buckled after a lucky break by Dogs Blitzer "Simon Thorn" carried home a late first half TD.

The second half started with a Bretonnian fans staging a pitch invasion leaving most of the dogs eating turf and the team stormed in an equalizer in record time.

The rest of the game was a furhter show of how this beautiful game should be played with both sides displaying some remarkable skill and tactical play.
Some highlights did include the death of recently recovered Blitzer "Fox Heldenhammer" - who was beaten to death, to the crowds delight when a block went very bad for him.

Another moment of pure style and worth noting was when Bards Blitzer "Miquel Cervantes", side stepped two dogs to bring down "Karl Jaggers" just before he carried a third TD home for the pack.

A great game with big pay offs for both teams, i cant see how any fans left the grounds in anything but high spirits.

#5 Oskar Wilde – Smashed Knee (NI)
This will be one of those games that you will tell your children "I was there". From the very start, the battle for supremacy was rough, with the Dogs finally tipping the scales in the dying seconds of the first half with a magnificent touchdown by a Dog Blitzer.

The Second half seen both teams square off again, but a pitch invasion by the excited fans, brought down many players, allowing the Bards to wrong foot their opponents scoring a quick touch down with an unexpected blitz by star catcher Edgár Poé.

The restart seen more blistering tactical play, but the Dogs again got the upper hand of the Bards, and ran the ball across the touch line to put themselves ahead.

All celebrations were muted though, when the team found out that a block that went horribly wrong for Dogs Blitzer Fox Heldenhammer resulted in him passing from this world, and into the book of fallen players. Pulling no punches, the Dogs kept the Bards eating turf, and running the ball home with their thrower Jaggers, but an inspired blitz Cervates, ruined the throwers chance of a commerative touch down seconds before the final whistle.

2-1 to the Dogs. In sporting spirit, the Bards got together to sing the praise of their opponents lost blitzer, with a scintalation sonnet in his honour. However, upon finding that Foz Heldenhammer spent most of his time on the injury bench, even their mastery of language could not conujure up a suitably stirring 14 line soliloquy, so they settled for a 5 line limerick instead.
