“A tight game which saw the Harpies' Xtag Greatbone and his leaden boot rise to fame while the ref's back was 'conveniently' turned. Toots McGraw enacted revenge, stamping out three goblins in retribution.
But the turning point of the game happened in the second half:
Just as the ogres built an intimidating cage in the greenskins' half, a noisy fart by the goblin ballcarrier caused 3/4 of the cage to begin finger pointing. Realizing he was unprotected, he made a mad dash toward the endzone...before being tackled and neigh devoured by the aforementioned McGraw.
This one could have easily gone the other way. Good game, MachSphere, and good luck with the rest of the season.”
“Morley’s Revenge reared its ugly head upon the Orc team, with several players refusing to grace the field each drive. But that did not deter the Orcs, as they fielded a strong defense on each of the Ogres drives.
The Ogres could only muster 1 casualty upon the tough skinned Orcs, but the new dirty playing goblin ran amok in the first half with his spiky boot while the ref was busy reminiscing about old times over a tankard of Fungus Beer with coach MachSphere.
There were moments of possibleness for the Nard Harpies to score but it just wasn’t their day, coupled with major coaching errors made it an uphill battle that turned out to be unsuccessful.
It was a great game but the Orcs were too strong in the sweltering heat and took win.
Gratz to Sockosensei who played well and took the evil fouling with smiling grace. Karma equaled out in this match didn’t it mate. ;-)”
