“A very bizarre game where Don't Look at Me had unbelievable hitting power (first turn, 3 pows for three KOs on me for example) but made two errors to allow the Guardians to steal the match despite only having 6 or 7 players in every drive after the opening seconds of the match.

The first error was to advance the ball to quickly and without support on his first drive allowing my players to swarm back, steal the ball, throw it to a player on my LOS on the other wing and run it for a score.

My opponent made the same mistake on his next drive and I stole the ball again, only to drop it on a hand off and the ball scattered two squares away cos it first landed on his one of his players who was prone and stunned, which allowed him to pick up the ball and score heh.

However, on his next offensive drive, he made the same play again, this time dropping the catch. I scooped up the ball and scored to take a 3-1 lead.

I was a bit disappointed that my opponent then did a turn 8 foul on my Wardancer when I only had 9 players left, 3 with Morely's Revenge on them and no apothecary left, but that is how the game is played sometimes heh.

Second half, a 6 turn riot sealed the victory for me.

Alas I had earlier thrown the ball with my 75 SPP Catcher instead of my 0 SPP one to avoid his Pass Blocking Wardancer. I should have throw with him and taken the chance of still making a 3+ Throw instead of a 2+.

True to form (and Christer's rigging of my aging rolls heh), the player aged and now has a niggle so the team has now got 11 players, 7 with niggles. To think I had kept him on 75 SPP for 5 matches only to stuff up and throw with him. Serves me right for starting a game after midnight.

And 96K fans from 32 Fan Factor combined was a killer too, as I need money, lots and lots and lots of it heh.”
