A fun game against a fun coach.

A hilarious lopsided match. My opponent wanted to play my WE so I agreed needing some money (got none in the end) after telling him that it would likely be very lopsided due to him getting 5 handicaps.

True to my prediction, I got a Virus and Morley's and I had 4 players take the pitch with one being a rookie Catcher, and the other 3 being Linemen with Blodge (one with AG5 and Sidestep, another Kick and Guard, and the third Tackle, Sidestep and Pass Block).

With a Blizzard in play, I managed to recover and score once thanks to my opponent tripping on a GFI (fail 1-2 in a Blizzard) near my endzone, then stole the ball and scored a second time thanks to a Pitch Invasion by my fans that injured 3 of this players (apoth failed on one unfortunately).

At 2-0 up, I was unable to stop my opponent scoring when he KOd one of my players early. I then had a chance to score on a Long Bomb to take the score to 3-1, but fumbled (reroll was a Fumble too) and my opponent recovered the ball and scored himself to take the score to 2-2.

In the second half, my fans invaded the pitch again and injured another two players, which helped me steal the ball. My opponent stole it back, and I had a great chance to steal the ball and score but I rolled snake eyes with my Guard guy who was on the way to set up the steal.

This allowed my opponent to set up a cage and he advanced it steady to take the lead 3-2. Critically, made a dumb decision and burnt a reroll doing a two dice blitz his choice blitz with my rookie Catcher on his scorer and that reroll might have been enough for me to win later.

With 4 vs 6, it was pretty easy to set up a score and tie the game at 3-3, and then pray for a turn 8 blitz.

And I got the blitz! Ran a player under the ball and managed to catch it. Critically, rolled a 1 on the way there and used my last reroll. My opponent stole the ball back and threw it away to try and stop me scoring. My pass block attempt failed (5+) and I was left with having to try a long bomb (5+) to win the match but I fumbled again and the match was a draw.
----------
What an unusual game. I could say I was extremely unlucky not to have won that match after failing a Long Bomb in the first half (5+ with reroll) and also the snake eyes to steal the ball in the second half, and again with the failed intercept and failed Long Bomb to win at the end of the game.

On the other hand, I was extremely lucky to get two Pitch Invasions to allow me to get to a draw in the first place heh.

My opponent was a great sport who didn't complain about the bad luck with the two Pitch Invasions, his Apothecary failing etc.
