“Dreadful sportsmanship by my opponent. Throughout the game he complained about everything he could get his hands on, and then when he finally managed to score a TD, he accused me of not trying to win. Well, my record and my team's record say otherwise. Yes, when you're playing without rerolls and all the opposing players have stunty, you tend to do 3-dice blocks and surround the ball before 3+ potentially-turn-ending pickups. That's just common sense -- it's not that valuable for your goblin to have the ball when the opponent has standing players who can dodge out and block him all the time. (Of course, if your opponent keeps successfully making 5+ pickup rolls in two tackle zones and whatnot, protecting the ball until as many nearby threats as possible are neutralized may not work out for you. Doubly so if your guys drop every pass they attempt.)

I mean, I don't know. I'm new to ogres. Could be there's a better way to play them. And I've been playing a bunch of high-RR teams lately, so I was probably a bit too cautious about that. But... you know, whatever. My point is, this guy started whining from the moment he took his first two casualties -- both on dodge rolls, mind you -- so there was really no hope for the game being fun. I will applaud my opponent for accusing me of trying to hurt his team just minutes after making a turn-16 foul, though. That takes some impressive audacity.”
