Great game against a really fun, chatty opponent! Play more!

We start things off with a friendly, lovable group hug on their str 5 lizardman once he's on the ground but unfortunately we can't even break armour :P

Superior blocking dice (we brought our special 'lucky' ones) means their KO box fills up over the first few turns, which naturally means we get to block even more and soon we really get the numbers advantage, bashing them about and scoring with our rookie centaur without much trouble. Meanwhile their apo is used early on a MNG skink- risky!

Their fans then get the ref! Between free fouls and the touchback they are easily able to run the ball upfield and score, notwithstanding our desperate attempts at the end.

9v9 set up for the second half with our troll lounging in the KO box, the lazy sack of meat! At least a new ref has been brought on..

They push through nicely with a skink which leaves us scrambling to get back - letting them run down the clock a little. We are able to do some nice sprinting and a blitz/BT from our skilled centaur- letting him just about get a TZ on the lone skink with the ball. In their turn they do some blocks and when 2skulls-reroll-2skulls rears its ugly head we have a chance to take down the ball! But we can't grab the ball (with a centaur, in fairness) and the lizards are able to dodge, pickup and then GFI to score the 2-1 TD! Curses!

No one has any rerolls left and there's just 3 turns, hrm, this could be difficult. And we totally screw it up for ourselves when a quick snap "makes" us move our blockers, messing up their guard assists! arg!

We are barely able to stop the enterprising lizards scoring a third, and in our final turn we go for a truly unlikely attempt to equalise, failing the long bomb pass (to a dwarf who would have had to catch it and then GFI twice).
