“The elves coach was a bit confused to be playing up 20ts and the elves only had a palmed coin to show for the difference. The elven dp was also missing in action and so any thought of some mummy fouls was going to be shortlived. Well, the game got off to a pretty decent start with an elven blitz and a few early ko's as the skeletons crunchiness started to show. The elves claimed the ball in the khemri backfield and declined the opportunity to score early, despite Ramtut lurking close by. Eventually, in a moment of elven celebration Ramtut was thrust into the crowd and had his neck broken. He failed to fix this himself. Unfortunately a BH'd mummy did manage to put himself right.

The elves stalled till the 8th turn and with the ball in the second half it was always going to be difficult for the khemri to equalise. The elves took up camp in the backfield as a mass of undead squelched their way closer. The elves seized an opportunity to make a break for it with a blodge blitzer and ran clear.

The elves don't come out of the game too badly... apart from a dead 6spp thrower the other perms went onto players who were already niggled.

One of the only things you can hope for in a game like this is that you use your apoth on the right guy/girl, and a niggled witch-elf repair is pretty useful.

In summary, we both won. We were playing slightly different games mind, but still. I'll trade a 6spp thrower for the delight of shoving Ramtut into the crowd =D


Edit: I knew that you must have some sort of amazon culling field where you get your skellies from, but please ensure you maintain a record of having more dodge than dp on you skeletons. Hilarious!”
