The Tatooine Thugs haven't brought much pride to their fans with their miserable win record (6/1/11), but finally they won a tournament. That it was the Back to the Basics tournament, reserved for the trash and the fresh teams, is nothing that Jabba will be reminding anyone about.

The Padawans of the Chu'unthor fought bravely, but were too young and inexperienced to stand up to the seasoned criminals in the Tatooine Thugs.

Thanks for the match, darkwing! It was fun!

The assembled Jedi brought themselves to order as Jedi Master Darkwing entered the audience chamber. Taking his seat at the head of the table he took a moment to gather his thoughts.

"I have gathered you all here so that we can review our recent progress and to decide on our next course of action. First on my list is the current casualty situation- Doctor Dervik could you give us a brief update please?"

"Yes Master, i'm pleased to anounce that there are currently no injuries amongst the students. There were a couple of bumps and bruises and some minor abrasions but overall we appear to have come through our recent matches relatively unscathed."

"Thank you doctor. Now to review the matches the good doctor mentioned. After some much needed training it was agreed that the students were ready to enter their first competitive competition- the 3rd Return of the Jedi tournament. Now i will be the first to admit that this was just too big a step to make for our first game as the resounding defeat against the Rylothian Dancers showed although we did manage to score and played well in parts."

"After meditating on the matter i felt that it would be better to find a tournament that still provided realistic combat situations but not too easy so as to be of little value and that is why we entered into the Back to Basics Tournament."

"The first match up had me concerned as it pitched us against our ancient enemy- the Sith. I thought it too soon to let the students face the Enemy but after some re-assuring words from Master Trew we let the match go ahead. The padawans showed great control of their emotions and managed to edge a hard fought 1-0 victory to the dismay of the Sith Sandwich Sith Lord Vampy."

"Progressing to the Semi-finals we encountered the Kashyyyk Package Smugglers, a tough team from the Wookie home planet led by two old friends- Han Solo and the mighty Chewbacca. Fortune favoured us and with a large slice of luck we managed to run out 3-0 victors."

"The Final proved to be just too much for us. The Tattooine Thugs led by their leader Pirog proved themselves to be a much meaner and ruthless team than any of our previous opponents - befitting of their name you could say. Jabba once again proved that appearences can be deceiving and throughout the match proved to be a constant threat to the young padawan learners."

"Now i ask of you- what shall our next move be? I ask for the council of whoever wishes to share it."

After several moments, the Chu'unthors Master of History, Jedi Master Yular spoke."I beleive that we should continue to follow the vision Master Darkwing has revealed to us. It is already proving to be a great training aid in preparing our padawans, our future Jedi's for life in service to those that need our help and guidance."

"I disagree." That was Master Deasik, the ship Discip, a strict man who lived his life to the letter of the Jedi Teachings."We are straying away from our core values. It is madness to send our padawans into an environment where they will be encouraged to show no leniency and adopt more aggressive natures. Already we have encountered our mortal Enemy and if we continue to play this BloodBowl we shall encounter them again! I fear..........I fear that it may lead some astray..........to the Darkness owned by the Sith. That is all i have to say on the matter."

"Thank you my friends, for your council is always honest and valuable. I propose that we stay true to the vision and continue upon the path that we have started down. Earlier today i recieved a communication from a man known only by the name Azure. It was an invitation for us to join an inter-galactic BloodBowl League. I see this as a sign, for we did not ask for this invitation. It seems this Azure has been monitoring the progress of our Padawans. Let us join this League so that we can bring the Jedi message back to the peoples of the universe and build upon the 'real life' experiences of our students."

"We have a lot of preparation to be done before the league starts in the near future- 1 month, 2 at most. I want all of you to be diligent in your teachings and begin whatever preperations you feel necessary. I am going to be organising a series of low-key games against some amatuer teams so that we can get some match fitness and hone up on team tactics. Thank you my friends now let us go and prepare. May the Force be with you."
